Another company is born! As Hathaway Properties expands, the need for a larger maintenance department prompted the formation in 2005 of Hathaway Maintenance Resources - a subsidiary of Hathaway Properties. Bob Edison, the original maintenance employee, is now part owner and Maintenance Manager. He manages a staff of several full time and part time employees. From managing lawn care to remodeling apartments to snow removal, the maintenance professionals are an invaluable asset to the organization. Hathaway Properties receives accolades daily from residents and businesses who feel great appreciation for the maintenance team’s superior customer service.

Maintenance Emergency - Call 754-6130
An emergency is defined as an event that takes place in or about your rental home that may result in harm to you, your home, another person or building. Examples of an emergency are: no heat, no refrigeration, no hot water, a plumbing leak or overflowing toilet, a natural gas odor, personal carbon monoxide detector alarm.
- Please note that maintenance Service Fees will apply to the following:
- Light bulb changes (exception of stairwell fixtures, appliance bulbs, & neon tubes).
- Plugged toilet (if plugged at toilet and not beyond).
- Garbage disposal (if plugged with exessive food or hard objects).
- Screen door replacement or screen door tear repairs not noted at move-in.
- Air conditioner installs or hole preparation (Maplewood Square Apartments).
- Replacement of garage door remote opener - $50 flat fee.
- Replacement of apartment or mailbox key - $50 flat fee.
- Lock-out of apartment - $25 weekday / $45 nights and weekends.
- You will be invoiced at the time of service based upon the following rate:
- $20 covers up to 1/2 hour labor and minimum charge.
- $40 covers 1/2 hour and up to 1 hour labor.
- $37 per hour for over 1 hour labor.
- The following “billable” special requests are permitted if installed by Hathaway Maintenance Resources:
- Ceiling fans.
- Lighting & plumbing fixture changes.
- Handicap aids.
- These items are NOT permitted in the apartment homes:
- Wallpaper.
- Repair or patching of nail holes.
- Plumbing or electrical changes without permission.
- 220 volt air conditioners (Maplewood Square Apartments).
